It has taken me 19870 days to post my first blog. Never knew Google had made it so easy. I wonder who reads blogs of non-famous people. Infamous characters would have their blog-fans, and the truly creative & amusing bloggers would attract a following anyway. I understand it's a place where one can vent out, spew forth, shoot off, crack jokes or send out messages of peace and/or profundity. The only downside would be that one can't take back the words.
Come to think of it, in fact it has also taken me 19870 days to read a blog for the first time. I knew these things existed and sometimes people get into trouble over what they have blogged, like Shashi Tharoor did sometime back, but I had never visited one. But today I was looking for some reference on Gurcharan Das' commentry on Mahabharat, and the search directed me to his blog site. Was quite impressed, one thing led to another, and ended up writing/ blogging this.
